Appenzeller Classic Mildly spicy cheese is matured for at least 3 months,
cared for using a mysterious herbal brine  and
is one of Switzerlands’s outstanding cheese spcialities.
The enchanting, hilly Appenzell landscapes, with their wholesome,
richly aromatic pastures, provides the ideal basis for the natural,
robust raw milk from which Appenzeller cheese is made.You can recognise the Appenzeller Classic by its silver label.
Made with fresh untreated raw milk from cows that have not been fed on silage.
The use of additives is forbidden in the cheesemaking process.
